Kairos House of Prayer is a small ecumenical retreat center located 
about 12 miles north of Spokane. It was established to
“provide a place for all who wish to avail themselves
of a contemplative experience for a period of time”
and welcomes various individuals and groups who seek
quiet for their spiritual work. 
It was conceived by Sr. Florence Kairos, a Franciscan nun,
who continues to manage the center with Rita.
They  provide all the homecooked vegetarian meals in the kitchen
of the main house and charge a nominal fee for food and lodging.
They are totally dependent on donations to continue their work.

To find Kairos House take Division St. north out of Spokane.
Division becomes US-395 where U.S. 2 splits off.
Stay on Division/ US-395.
Near Wandemere Golf Course
vere right onto N. Wandemere Rd. and go 8/10 mile
Take a left onto N. Dartford Dr and go 7/10 mile
Turn left onto W. Hazard Rd. and go 1 mile
Turn left at W. Stearns Rd. and go 3/10 mile
You will see a sign/arrow to right for Kairos
Take the paved lane up 3/10 mile and park
